Meshima organic

Meshima Sanghuangporus sanghuang (syn. Phellinus linteus) is highly regarded in Korean traditional medicine and commonly used to support immune function. Its Chinese name, Sang Huang (“mulberry yellow”), refers to its distinctive colour as well as its host tree, the mulberry.

Preclinical and emerging clinical studies suggest that Meshima extracts may help regulate immune activity and reduce inflammation, with particular interest in their effects on cytokine modulation and macrophage activation. Its distinctive yellow pigmentation is due to naturally occurring flavonoids, which contribute to its bioactivity alongside beta-glucans and triterpenes.

MycoNutri™ Meshima is produced from wild-harvested fruiting bodies using a dual process hot-water extraction method followed by vacuum concentration and spray-drying. The final extract provides a full spectrum of active compounds, including triterpenes and flavonoids and contains more than 35% total beta-glucans.
