Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us at Ivywood. We get a lot of inquiries from people wishing to volunteer. Please take a read of the details below for more information.

Our clinical practice Ivywood Apothecary is a herbal medicine and nutritional therapy practice where we treat varying health conditions. In the clinic dispensary we make our own herbal tinctures, oils, vinegars, glycerites, and dried herb stock from our own plants growing in our gardens and woodland. At the clinic dispensary bespoke herbal medicine formulas, lotions, creams, balms, and other external herbal remedies are made for individual patients based on consultations.

We only offer volunteer positions at Ivywood Apothecary to herbal medicine students studying at an accredited college or qualified herbalists that wish to learn more hands-on herbal medicine making and herb growing. We can only take volunteers at the Apothecary that already have an in depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, Materia Medica and herbal medicine treatment as working within the herbal dispensary making remedies requires prior knowledge and experience.
